Im not a parent, but as a child I cant imagine growing up an being denied Knowing my father. Especially one that genuinely wants to be part of my life. There is something very wrong with all this. I hope you keep fighting for your rights. I will be praying for you and Caleb.

  Bill-

I have never met you but I am so sorry to hear what you have to go through to be a father to your son. I wish you the best of luck and I hope to come back to this website soon and read a note from you that you are a part of your son's life. I can't believe that your ex is doing this to you - hopefully she will do the right thing soon before your son hates her for what she is doing. NO CHILD should have to go through this. Best of luck!

I read your story in the 03-21-05 Muskegon Chronicle. This is horseshit. You should have full rights to your son and be a part of his life. Take it to the supreme court!!!!

It is my strongest prayer that you win this fight. I wish that my childrens father cared a tenth for them as you care for Caleb. There is more that needs to be changed in regards to fathers rights though. You said that you wanted to raise Caleb instead of putting him up for attoption. That was not an option for you because the court sees the mother as the one to make that decision and you can only consent or force the mother to raise the child. I could go on for hours about the courts and the rights of the faters, but I won't. My prayers are with you and I am going to forward your web site to everyone I know. May God bless you and keep both you and Caleb.

My son won a case very similar to yours here in Muskegon County, Michigan in 1997. Keep plugging away and someday you will hold your son.
