I hope everything works out for you. I couldn't imagine the pain you are going through. It seems so insane to me, with so many fathers who choose the "easy" road, and walk out on their children, that this woman would even consider turning away someone who obviously is interested in a life with his child. Good luck

When i read your story, I could not believe that such a ridiculous law exsists. My thoughts are that you need to keep taking this to higher authorities- specifically Washington. How many other states have these laws that are really out of exsistance to todays world? My heart and prayers go out ot you. Review every government website that you can and let them know your story. It is one worth telling. Do your best to try to get the media involved. The more eyes and ears that hear and read your story , the more exposure you will have to your cause.
Contact your local media to start, then push ahead to FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, Lifetime, HARPO productions etc. They will want to have copies of all your information and paperwork. Your fight is proof of your love for your son, as time moves ahead he will someday understand that you loved him so much that you had to fight for him. There are so many "dead beat parents" out there, that you are an inspirations to all of us, who have to suffer with "dead beat ex's " in our lives and the lives of our children.
If you need any help in finding the right connections for media- send me an email. My best to you.

I didn't know about this law until I read your website. Keep up the fight. I'm a woman, and I hate to see women abuse the law to avoid facing their own responsibilities! Good Luck and God be with you. I hope you see your son soon.
